A couple of days ago Van had his second birthday, I made the mistake of telling him that I would make him a Thomas cake, so for a whole month before his birthday he was talking about his Thomas birthday cake. I'm just glad I was kind of able to pull it off, or we would have had one unhappy little boy. Here he is opening his presents.

We took Van downtown to see the Santa Parade, with some the cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. He loves wearing his Santa hat.
